๐๏ธ COMPETITION STRUCTURE
Teams of 3-4 will have 10 days to analyse and solve a real business problem set by JD Sports, developing a practical, evidence-based strategy. As part of the competition, each team will conduct an in-person visit to a JD Sports branch, gaining firsthand exposure to retail operations to inform their recommendations. Teams will deliver a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A. The top 16 teams will progress to Online Heats via Zoom, with the top 4 teams advancing to an In-Person Finals evening at the JD Sports Head Office, followed by a networking and canapรฉs evening.
Open to all UNSW students across all faculties and backgrounds.

Participation in this competition requires all team members to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with JD Sports, as teams will be working with real client data and commercially sensitive information. It is crucial that all participating members carefully read all the terms & conditions before completing the NDA form. This will be actively check.

Why do we need to sign an NDA?
The NDA is required because participants will be given access to real company data, business information, case materials, and other confidential content provided by our industry partners. To protect the interests of participating organisations and ensure compliance with confidentiality obligations, all participants must sign the NDA before receiving access to any competition materials. The NDA helps safeguard sensitive information and ensures that all participants understand their responsibilities when handling confidential data. Please note that every member of a team must individually complete the NDA. Teams with one or more members who have not signed the NDA will be deemed ineligible and will not receive access to the case materials or be permitted to compete.
