Community guidelines

The shared expectations that keep CaseCrest competitions respectful, fair, and welcoming for every participant.

Effective date: 31 December 2025

CaseCrest is a platform for students, professionals, judges, and organisers to participate in and run case competitions and similar challenge-based events.

These Community Guidelines help ensure a fair, respectful, and high-quality environment for everyone involved.

1. Be Honest

  • Accurately represent yourself, your team, and your work.
  • Submit only work you created or are authorised to submit.
  • Do not misrepresent skills, experience, or affiliations.

2. Respect Intellectual Property

  • Only upload content you own or have the right to use.
  • Give proper credit to teammates and contributors.
  • Do not submit plagiarised or infringing materials.

3. Be Respectful

You must not post content that is:

  • Harassing, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory.
  • Hateful or targeted at individuals or groups.
  • Obscene, excessively violent, or inappropriate for a global audience.

CaseCrest includes users from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Act accordingly.

4. Protect Privacy

  • Do not share personal or private information about others without consent.
  • Respect confidentiality obligations imposed by competition organisers.

5. No Spam or Manipulation

  • Do not misuse messaging, voting, liking, or registration features.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate judging, rankings, or outcomes.
  • Automated scraping or abuse of platform features is prohibited.

6. Enforcement

CaseCrest may remove content, disqualify submissions, suspend accounts, or terminate access if these guidelines are violated.

7. Reporting

Report all violations to support@casecrest.org.
