Overview
Trust Tairāwhiti is a regional community trust supporting economic development, community initiatives and investment in the Gisborne region. Its paid summer internships offer eight to ten weeks of supervised project work, with areas potentially including finance, investment, commercial work, economic development, tourism, research and strategy. Placements are based in Gisborne and normally involve 30–40 hours per week. Students from commerce, economics, business, public policy, marketing and other related disciplines can apply, explaining their study and preferred areas. The body of the advertisement says placements begin from November 2026, while a separate start-date field says September; that conflict needs clarification before publication.
