Overview

Sunshine Coast Health provides public health services and offers university internships in supporting business functions. Its non-clinical programme includes possible placements with Workforce and Finance teams for students studying business, HR, accounting, economics or finance. Participants contribute to supervised projects related to their university studies. Most placements are described as unpaid course-based work, usually one day a week for up to twelve weeks; individual payment terms remain unconfirmed. The next intake is scheduled for November 2026 to January 2027, with applications announced for September. Students need university approval and must arrange placement through their institution; an expression-of-interest form is available for notifications.
