Overview

Sumpters is a Northland accounting and business advisory firm serving businesses, iwi organisations, farms and families. Its paid summer internship has limited places for the 2026/27 university holidays, running from November to February in the Whangārei office. Interns contribute to real client work in business accounting, tax and advisory, receive support from a dedicated mentor and access the firm’s training. Participants also receive a guaranteed interview for its graduate programme. The opportunity suits students partway through a degree, especially third-year accounting students with Northland connections or plans to move there.
