Overview

Optus provides mobile, broadband and digital services in Australia. Its three-month finance internship runs from November 2026 to February 2027 and offers exposure to commercial finance, billing and credit, financial planning and analysis, network finance and finance operations. Interns can contribute to performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, credit risk, investment analysis, transaction reporting and process improvement. The programme includes learning workshops, peer connections and mentoring, with a pathway into graduate recruitment. Applicants must be in their penultimate or final year of tertiary study, including relevant university or TAFE qualifications, and be available throughout the placement. The hybrid role is centred on the Macquarie Park campus, with three campus days each week.
