Overview

OceanaGold operates gold and copper mines, including the Waihi operation in New Zealand. This paid internship joins its Commercial team on site from approximately mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027, with timing adjusted to the successful student's examinations. Work includes identifying property maintenance needs, preparing costed budgets, allocating rates to properties and maintaining a database. Interns also participate in group projects and present their learning to site management. Applicants should be in their penultimate or final year of a relevant business, commerce, accounting or finance bachelor's degree, hold unrestricted New Zealand work rights and a full Class 1 driving licence. The advertised roster averages 40.5 hours per week.
