Overview

MediaWorks operates New Zealand radio brands and the rova audio platform. Its Waikato Content and Promotions internship is based in Hamilton, starts on 18 January 2027 and runs for 24 weeks with a weekly bursary. Reporting to the regional Content and Promotions Manager, the intern creates digital content, supports events and brand activations, develops promotional ideas, coordinates campaign tasks and assists with post-campaign analysis. The role works across content, promotions and sales teams. Recent or soon-to-be graduates are encouraged, ideally from communications, media studies, broadcasting or related fields. Candidates need a full clean New Zealand driver licence, strong communication and organisation skills, and an interest in video creation and editing.
