Overview

Victoria’s Department of Treasury and Finance supports government budgeting, economic policy and public financial management. Its official programme page announces a 2027–28 summer internship intake, with applications expected during July and August 2027. The published programme offers twelve weeks of full-time project work between December and February across Treasury divisions and the Essential Services Commission. Economics and public policy, and accounting and finance, are the two stated streams. Interns receive supervision, mentoring and professional development. Detailed eligibility, remuneration, exact dates and locations for the future intake are not yet published and require confirmation when advertisements appear.
