Overview

ASIC regulates Australian companies, markets and financial services. Its paid internship programme gives tertiary students practical experience alongside their studies, placing each intern in an ASIC team for 450 hours over six months. Published streams include professional services, regulation and enforcement, legal, and data and technology. The next intake begins in March 2027, with applications officially scheduled for 6–20 October 2026. Students must have completed at least one year of university study and remain enrolled for the upcoming semester. Australian citizenship is required.
