Urban Utilities supplies water and wastewater services across South East Queensland. Its Finance UrbanGrad programme begins in January 2027 and combines 12 months of rotations, mentoring and structured development with an assured permanent role after successful completion. Graduates support finance, financial planning, analytics, governance, strategy, sustainability and regulation activities. Work includes analysing data, contributing to investment decisions and supporting enterprise planning with colleagues across the organisation. Applicants need a relevant finance or commerce degree completed, or being completed, within 24 months of commencement, Australian or New Zealand citizenship or unrestricted work rights, and private transport for operational locations. The full-time role is based in Fortitude Valley and advertises AUD 97,000 annually plus superannuation.
