Overview

The Audit Office, Te Mana Arotake, is recruiting an Assistant Auditor for its Auckland office through the 2027 Graduate Programme. The organisation audits public spending and the financial and performance reporting of public entities, with work spanning organisations such as councils, schools, hospitals and the Defence Force. The permanent full-time role begins with group induction on 15 February 2027. Graduates receive technical training, a buddy and a mentor, alongside paid study leave, fees and support toward becoming a chartered accountant. Applicants need qualifications that meet CA ANZ provisional entry requirements or eligibility for its Foundations programme. Candidates should apply to their preferred office and identify any alternative locations in that application.
