Mako is an options market maker providing liquidity across equities, fixed income, commodities and foreign-exchange derivatives. Its Sydney Graduate Trader Programme develops knowledge of options markets, trading theory and risk processes through structured rotational training. Graduates work on projects, attend options classes and simulated floor-trading sessions, learn alongside senior traders and rotate across product desks before a desk assignment. Applicants need a STEM degree or equivalent, strong mathematical reasoning, quick decision-making and programming familiarity such as VBA or Python.
