Overview
Mainfreight provides transport, warehousing and international freight services. Its New Zealand development programme recruits university graduates throughout the year for a practical route into the business. Participants spend approximately their first twelve months in operations, learning freight handling, warehouse processes, customer needs and how a branch works. Physical operational tasks form part of this initial experience. Subsequent development can lead towards customer service, sales, account management, leadership and other business roles. Mentoring, networking and courses support individual progression rather than a rigid rotation schedule. Applicants need a recent university degree in any discipline and New Zealand citizenship or residency, and should apply when ready to begin within two months.
