Overview

South Australia’s Department for Infrastructure and Transport oversees major transport and public infrastructure contracts. This combined graduate and internship process offers exposure to procurement procedures, negotiation, relationship management, contract administration and governance. Teams include major contract management, road maintenance, infrastructure delivery and goods and services procurement. The identified recruitment pool covers opportunities at the start of 2027 and those arising during the following twelve months. Relevant graduates receive structured development and mentoring; students completing after January 2027 may enter through an internship pathway. Candidates need relevant degree study in procurement, supply chain, contracts, project management or commercial law and must describe industry experience beyond their university work.
