Overview
City of Gold Coast is the local government serving Queensland’s Gold Coast. The regulatory policy graduate contributes research, analysis, stakeholder engagement and project coordination to governance initiatives. A central task is supporting the Local Law Framework Review Project across Council services. The employer explicitly states that law-qualified applicants will not practise law or provide legal advice in this role. The twelve-month Graduate Academy starts in February 2027 and combines work experience with coaching, mentoring, professional development and a graduate cohort. Applicants need a relevant bachelor or postgraduate qualification completed within the preceding two years, or before programme commencement, plus full Australian working rights.
