Overview
City of Gold Coast is the local government serving Queensland’s Gold Coast. The capital contracts graduate joins the Chief Procurement Office, learning contract management, procurement, commercial governance and infrastructure project delivery. The placement involves experienced contract managers and commercial specialists, with exposure to contractors, consultants and delivery partners. The twelve-month Graduate Academy starts in February 2027 and combines work experience with coaching, mentoring, professional development and a graduate cohort. Applicants need a relevant bachelor or postgraduate qualification completed within the preceding two years, or before programme commencement, plus full Australian working rights. These fixed-term jobs involve 36 hours per week and a nine-day fortnight.
