UQES is proud to partner with Deloitte Access Economics to present the Deloitte Access Economics (DAE) Economic Consulting Case Competition. Students based in South-East Queensland from all backgrounds and at any stage in their degree are invited to participate with fantastic prizes on offer. With market volatility high and economic futures uncertain, now is the perfect time to showcase your knowledge and skills to DAE’s expert panel of economists.

Rules and Eligibility

Form teams of 2-4 students or individually, where you’ll be placed in a team with other participants. Teams will have 1 week to prepare and submit a slide deck responding to the case question. The top teams will be selected to present in the final round presentations with judges from DAE. All participants are invited to attend the final presentations event, with networking held after.

Presenting teams will be provided with 10 minutes of uninterrupted time to present to the panel of judges and 5 minutes of Q&A.

FAQ

Do I have to attend UQ to participate?

Not necessarily - however, you must attend a university based in South East Queensland, and if applicable, be able to travel to UQ for the finals.
